Sign out everywhere
Signing out of the console also ends your AdPix Account session, so every AdPix product signs out with it. The reverse holds too: a sign-out at the account reaches the console within about a minute.
Signing out works in both directions#
AdPix keeps two sessions — the central one at the AdPix Account and the console session in the product you opened — and signing out from either side closes the other.

Signing out of the console#
If the console is open in several tabs, the others go to the sign-in screen immediately too.
This Sign out is a sign-out of the AdPix Account. Any other AdPix product you have open with the same account — in the same browser or on another device — signs out as well. If you have a half-filled form somewhere, finish it before you sign out.
Signing out from the account side#
If you sign out at the AdPix Account directly, you do not need to visit the console at all. Every time you return to the console tab, and at roughly one-minute intervals, it asks the account whether the central session is still alive; as soon as the answer is no it sends you to the sign-in screen. In most cases this happens instantly, because the account also notifies the product when a session ends.
So for cutting off access on a shared browser or a device you no longer have in hand, signing out of the AdPix Account is enough.
The Sign out button on the "Welcome to AdPix Analytics" screen closes the console session only; the AdPix Account session stays open. Sign in again straight away and you come back without a password. For a full sign-out, use the profile menu in the console or sign out at the AdPix Account.
What signing out does not change#
Signing out closes a session and nothing else. These are untouched:
- Your memberships and roles. Your next sign-in has exactly the access you had before.
- Your property's data. Collection depends on the tag on your site, not on you being signed in. Reports keep filling while you are away.
- Your teammates. Your sign-out signs nobody else out.
- Scheduled work such as alerts and exports.
If your goal is to cut off someone's access, signing out is the wrong tool — their membership has to be removed. While the membership stands, they sign in again and see the same things.

Frequently asked questions#
Does signing out of the console sign me out of the other AdPix products?
Yes. Sign out in the profile menu first closes the console session and then ends the AdPix Account session. Any other product open with the same account signs out too.
I signed out at the AdPix Account but the console is still open. Is that normal?
A page already on screen stays there until the next check, but the session is no longer valid. The console checks whenever you return to the tab and at roughly one-minute intervals, then sends you to the sign-in screen - usually immediately.
Does signing out remove my access to properties?
No. Signing out only closes a session. Your memberships and roles are untouched, and your next sign-in has exactly the same access. Removing someone's access means removing their membership.
My laptop or phone is lost. What should I do?
Sign out at the AdPix Account, then open Password & security and change your password. Because every product session hangs off the central one, ending it reaches all of them.
