What Tag Manager does#
AdPix Tag Manager deploys marketing tags and pixels without changing your site's code. Changes are versioned, and you can preview them before they go live.
In practice that means adding a new pixel no longer waits in line behind an engineering deploy.
Nothing more is written on this page, because the rest of the product's behaviour is not documented yet.
How it relates to the Analytics measurement tag#
These are two different things, and one does not replace the other.
The AdPix Analytics measurement tag is exactly where it has always been: in the Analytics console, Admin - Data streams - View tag instructions. That path is fully documented — Install the measurement tag.
If the Analytics tag is live both in the site template and through a tag manager — AdPix's or Google's — the same page loads two copies of the script. Pick one installation path and remove the others.
The documentation is still being written#
The guides for building and publishing tags, previewing, versions, and the API reference are being written. This page is deliberately short and exists to hold their place, so page URLs, search and the sitemap work from day one.

Where to start in the meantime#
Three things exist today and are worth your time:
- The Account section — signing in to AdPix, profile and security, creating an organization and inviting your team. In the service menu, My AdPix Account has its own entry, and profile, billing and API keys live there.
- The Concepts section — the organization and property hierarchy, roles and data restrictions, and consent categories. These are shared AdPix concepts and are not tied to one product.
- The console itself — in the console top bar, open the AdPix services button and pick AdPix Tag Manager.
Frequently asked questions#
Should I install the Analytics measurement tag through Tag Manager?
You do not have to. The Analytics snippet comes from Admin - Data streams - View tag instructions and works pasted straight into the site template. If you do decide to deploy it through a tag manager, make sure a second copy is not still sitting in the template.
I already use Google Tag Manager — is that a problem?
No. AdPix Analytics works through any installation path. The only rule is that the measurement tag is installed through exactly one of them; installing it in the template and in a tag manager loads two copies of the script on the same page.
Where is Tag Manager in the console?
In the console top bar, open the AdPix services button — the menu titled Switch service — and pick AdPix Tag Manager. The same menu also holds My AdPix Account, AdPix Analytics and AdPix Captcha.
